At GKPTutors.in, we aim to deliver quality home tutoring services with transparency and professionalism. This Cancellation and Refund Policy outlines our terms regarding service cancellations and refund eligibility.
1. Class/Session Cancellation by Students
Prior Notice: Students must notify us at least 24 hours in advance to cancel or reschedule a session without penalty.
Short Notice (less than 24 hrs): May be counted as a completed session and no refund will be issued unless due to medical or emergency reasons (proof may be required).
No-shows: Missed sessions without prior notice are non-refundable.
2. Cancellation by Tutors
In rare cases where a tutor must cancel a session, we will:
Offer a reschedule at a mutually convenient time
Or, if rescheduling is not possible, issue a 100% refund for that session
3. Monthly Packages / Advance Payments
If you’ve booked a monthly plan or paid in advance for multiple sessions:
You may cancel and request a refund for the unused sessions only
A 24-hour notice before the next scheduled class is required for each cancellation
A processing fee of up to 10% may apply to cover administrative costs
4. Trial Classes
Trial classes are either free or discounted as per current promotions
Refunds are not applicable on trial or demo classes unless agreed otherwise
5. Refund Timeline
Approved refunds will be processed within 7–10 business days
